How to enable ‘2 Factor Authentication’:
If you use the 2-factor authentication feature for Twitter, then the security of the account becomes stronger. For this, first you have to confirm your email address and phone number on Twitter. To enable this feature, then log in to the Twitter account and click on the profile icon. After that go to Settings and Privacy. After tapping on the account option here, you have to click on the option with 2 factor authentication.
There are three methods for login verification on Twitter:
Text Message, Authentication App and Security Keys. If you choose the way a text message is, then click on the checkbox next to it.
Now reading the instructions, click on Next. After entering the password here, you will have to click on ‘Verify’. After this, as soon as you click on send code, the verification code will go to your registered mobile number. Then enter that code and submit it.
Let me tell you that after enabling this feature, you will also need a code with a password to open a Twitter account. Apart from this, you can also generate backup codes here, which can be useful in case of lost mobile. After this, whenever you log in to the account, the 6 digit code will come on your mobile. Only after registering it will you be able to open the account. Third party verification apps can also be used for login verification.
